6 Hair Removal Methods That Work Like A Charm

Most people have at some point in their lives been frustrated by facial hair growth in the wrong place. Whether they have excess hair on their upper lip, chin, or cheeks, most people would agree that excess facial hair can be embarrassing and time-consuming to deal with.

The good news is that there are many ways to deal with unwanted hair, and some are even permanent solutions!

Methods Of Facial Hair Removal

Removing hair can be time consuming and all the products can end up being expensive, made even more frustrating if you feel that the method you are using does not produce the results you want.

Getting a beauty treatment done by a professional is always a better choice than doing a DIY method, even if you only do this at the start and then experiment yourself.

Try one of these facial hair removal methods that are practically painless and very effective.

Sugaring

This method uses a sugar paste to remove unwanted hair. Many people like this method as it should be less painful than waxing and you make it yourself at home from cheap ingredients.

You can make your own sugar paste by mixing granulated sugar with lemon juice and water until you have a thick, smooth paste.

Apply the paste to the area you wish to remove hair from, work it into your skin for about 30 seconds, and then pull it off quickly in the direction of hair growth – this is what makes it less painful than waxing.

Threading

Threading is another excellent option for facial hair removal. It’s often used on the eyebrows, but it can be used on other areas of the face as well. Threading is quick and relatively painless.

Waxing

Many of the same benefits apply to facial waxing as they do to regular bikini waxing. Waxing removes the hair completely, so it can last for up to six weeks before you need to return for another treatment.

Epilation

Epilation is a popular option too. With this technique, you use a tool to remove hair from the root. When it comes to epilation, there are two types: manual and electric. Manual epilation involves using tweezers or small clippers to remove hair at the root.

Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal works by destroying the hair follicle with pulses of laser light. It’s safe, effective, and relatively painless. The length of time depends on the area being treated but you could probably do it on a lunch break and go back to work. The best thing you can do is to do a little research and then talk to some professionals, such as those at  Dermani Medspa.

Most people have between four to six treatments before they see results, but some people may need as many as 10 or more.

Electrolysis

Electrolysis is similar to laser hair removal. It works by inserting a tiny needle into the hair follicle or under the skin and destroys the hair root with a small electrical current.

Electrolysis can be a painful procedure and the needles can be difficult to tolerate. It also requires several treatments that are spaced about six weeks apart, but it is long-lasting.
